Careers doctor podcast series
From 2016-2017 I worked on a podcast series for publication Marketing Week.
I supported the planning and led the recording and editing of the series, blending storytelling and sound design to deliver insightful, listener-led episodes.
Tips and tricks on team management, mentoring and flexibility
Microsoft’s Helen Tupper and Sainsbury’s Sarah Ellis discuss leadership, mentoring and the need for flexibility in today’s workplace.
They are joined by scholars from the Marketing Academy. who all have their say on behalf of the marketers of the future.
Wellness in the Workplace
In the podcast Tupper provides advice on how marketers can incorporate mindfulness into their daily life, explaining why it is important to make it a habit rather than taking a “hippy approach”.
“Being more mindful can make you less stressed, it helps with mental health and productivity at work. It can reduce attrition and improve decision making. You can take a bit of space, you can make better decisions and you can be happier at work,” she says.
How to become a master of your career
Russell Parsons, editor of Marketing Week, talks to Microsoft’s Helen Tupper and Sainsbury’s Sarah Ellis, to gain practical advice on personal and professional development in the industry.
The duo, who also run Amazing If, a career development and training business, are joined by the founder of The Marketing Academy, Sherilyn Shackell, who gives advice on how marketers can take control and become masters of their own careers.
